Dr Riley

We are sad to be saying goodbye to Dr Riley.

Dr Riley has been at the Surgery since qualifying as a GP and has been a highly valued member of the team.

Whilst it is our loss, it will be another Surgeries gain as he moves to a Surgery (not in Surrey Heath) to progress his career as a Partner.

We wish him all the very best.

If you are a patient of Dr Rileys you will be reallocated a new GP but not until the pandemic level is lower – at the moment as I hope you appreciate it is all hands to the deck. We do recommend that you try to see the same GP for continuity. More on new appointment availability coming soon.

Fund raising

You would think that there would be no spare time for Park Road Group Practice, as they are already offering clinical services between the hours of 8am and 8pm Monday – Friday….BUT behind the scenes they are also busy raising money for local good causes

The Practice have always done fundraisers throughout the year and have supported great causes including the Alzheimer’s Café, First Steps, Frimley Park Breast Cancer appeal, The Air Ambulance, Phyllis Tuckwel Hospice and many more. This year’s annual January Surgery party saw a grand total of £322 raised with a staff raffle.

Each year the Surgery chooses a local charity and this year the money raised went to Camberley Care.

Powered by volunteers, Camberley Care has been caring for and providing help to elderly, disabled and vulnerable members of our community in Camberley and Frimley for more than 40 years.

The core of their success is the provision of a car service to assist independent living by providing reliable, safe and low-cost transport to meet medical, family and social needs.

Their handyperson service provides a reliable, safe and low-cost solution for the multitude of smaller handyman jobs around the home

Netty O’Conor Practice Manager said “We believe that as a Practice it is important to help support local initiatives that benefit our patients. Many of our patients use the valuable services of Camberley Care and we are pleased to be able to give them over £300 to benefit others”.
