At the moment to ensure the safety of our patients and our staff ALL (non nursing) appointments will be done over the phone in the first instance.
The clinician will then advise you if they want to do a video call (with your permission) or if they would like you to attend the Surgery to be seen face to face.
If you are attending the surgery you MUST adhere to strict Covid regulations by wearing a mask and social distancing.
You will be asked the transport details by the receptionist and once booked in you will be asked to wait in your car until called.
Please be aware that all clinicians will be wearing full PPE
Making an Appointment Online
You can now book and cancel telephone appointments online. This service, is available through Patient Access
It's very important that only genuine patients are granted internet access. The best way we can ensure this is to issue patients with a Registration Letter, which you must collect in person from your practice. You cannot book appointments online without one.
We run all our surgeries by an appointment only system and bookings can be made telephoning the surgery or using the online service (Doctors appointments only). You can book a telephone appointment up to a month ahead.
Urgent cases will be seen on the same day, but it may be necessary to wait a day or more to see a specific doctor.
Separate appointments are required for each person who needs to see the doctor and it is is helpful if you only present with one problem at each consultation.
Practice nurses & HCAs
Appointments with the nursing team normally follow a consultation with your GP or where you have a long-term condition such as Diabetes or COPD, the nurses will write to you and invite you in for periodic checks. It is very important that you attend these appointments and, where appropriate, contact the surgery to obtain results from any tests.
