We welcome

Dr Katharine Merrifield (female)– Katharine trained at PRGP and has now joined as a salaried GP, working Monday, Tuesday and Thursday

 

Dr Chandra Rai (Male) –will be working on a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday

 

Dr Cathy Huyton (Female) – Starts on 19th July – Dr Huyton will be working Monday- Friday

 

Dr Sam Eden(Male) Will be staying with us as a salaried GP until July 2022.

 

Dr Georgie Calvert (Female) – Dr Calvert will become a salaried GP from mid-June working Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Dr Calvert will be sharing Dr Pugsley’s patient list as Dr Pugsley’s time is often taken up by being the Clinical Director of the local Primary Care Network.

Reception

Receptionists provide an important link for patients with the practice and are your initial contact point for general enquiries. They can provide basic information on services and results and direct you to the right person depending on your health issue or query. Receptionists make most of the patient appointments with the GPs and nurses. They also perform other important tasks such as issuing repeat prescriptions and dealing with prescription enquiries, dealing with financial claims, dealing with patient records and carrying out searches and practice audits.

 

We also have a small team of secretaries who support the Doctors with referrals for treatment and dealing with requests for copies of records from other health professional, solicitors and insurance companies.
